The Culinary Awards Los Cabos showcases to the world what Los Cabos has to offer in gastronomic excellence, international diversity, and service. It has recently integrated establishments in Pescadero, Todos Santos and La Paz.

In 2022, there were 139 restaurants in competition for a silver statuette. Awards were presented in a variety of categories, including restaurant of the year in a hotel, restaurant of the year in each of the cities, new restaurant, bar of the year, chef of the year, rising chef, bartender of the year and more.

The best of the region’s gastronomic offerings are evaluated by a jury and online voting. It starts with a special pre-selection committee composed of experts from the food and beverage industry that determines the category for each of the registered restaurants. Then a local juror visits restaurants and evaluates them. The community could also vote online, and they form the People’s Choice awards. After the awards ceremony, a Restaurant Guide is published both in print and digitally.
