Mexico Grand Hotels properties in Los Cabos, Mexico, have been granted the Mexican Ministry of Tourism “Distintivo M” or M Distinction in the Modernize Quality Program.

The Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa, Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences, the Residences at Hacienda Encantada, and Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences were given this honor in February 2022. This distinction is an affirmation of their recognition in this category since 2017.

The “M” Distinction is a recognition that the Mexican Ministry of Tourism grants to all Tourism Companies that have managed to successfully implement the Moderniza Quality Program. This honor endorses the adoption of best practices that makes the company stand out from others.

The Moderniza Quality Program is a system for quality improvement. Its methodology establishes that the tourism company has achieved a successful implementation of the program. This is the highest recognition granted by the Ministry of Tourism. This program of best practices signifies a model tourism company.

The elements that are considered to grant this Distinction are excellence in human resources, client satisfaction, management and continuous improvement.
