For yet another year, Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences has been nominated as Mexico’s Top Resort in the prestigious Travel + Leisure Awards. The newer Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences also receives the nomination honor.

“The World’s Best” awards are run every year by Travel + Leisure magazine. This annual reader survey nominates and awards the world’s best destinations, airlines and more. Travelers are encouraged to vote with a chance to win prizes.

This is the third straight year that Hacienda Encantada and the first for Vista Encantada has been nominated. Voting will be conducted through May 10, and the winners will be announced in October in Travel + Leisure magazine and on the Travel + Leisure website.

This year, as the travel industry has confronted great challenges, Mexico Grand Hotels, the owner operator of both resorts, has continued to deliver excellence in service and safety to its guests. Travel + Leisure continues to recognize the resort for its high quality, as do the travelers who vote on these awards. The results serve as a benchmark for excellence in the travel industry, with various categories including cities, cruise ships, airlines, hotels and more.

Both Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences and Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences are nominated in the category of Top Resort in Mexico, with selection based on the accommodations and facilities, as well as location, service, food, and value.

When it comes to those criteria the resorts have some major factors as to why they earned the nominations:

  • Location: Sitting on cliffs overlooking the Cabo San Lucas Bay, with views to the iconic rock formations of the Baja Peninsula’s Land’s End; easy to reach with proximity to the San Jose Del Cabo International Airport; close enough to Cabo San Lucas to take part in activities there; and, just steps from a championship golf course and a spectacular white sand beach.
  • Facilities: Also, second to none, with pools offering amazing views, hot tubs, Activity Centers and Fitness Centers, and incredible spas. New this year between both resorts is a putting green and golf practice area, and for those with families, there’s a Kids Club & Water Playground.
  • Service: As part of Mexico Grand Hotels, both resorts service and safety regimen has achieved the Clean Point Distinctive Quality Seals and been recognized by the World Travel & Tourism Council under its Safe Travels protocols.
  • Food: The culinary experience features eight restaurants and bars on-site, including poolside and swim-up bars, and a deli that serves Starbucks coffee.
  • Accommodations: There are guest room options for every size of group, including Hacienda Suites, El Encanto Suites, and the Residences, and one, two or three-bedroom suites or villas.
  • Value: There are always specials for travelers, and the resort contains everything needed for the perfect vacation, making it economical as well. By choosing the Dine Out Privileges Plan, guests can access the award-winning sister resort on the Marina in Cabo San Lucas, with its restaurants and select locations on the Marina Golden Zone.
  • These are among the reasons these resorts are nominated as the best resort in Mexico. Travelers are encouraged to vote at the Travel + Leisure voting site (https://wba.m-rr.com/home) and be eligible for prizes, including a trip for two and additional cash prizes.
