Onsite COVID-19 antigen tests

In response to new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) requiring air passengers to provide a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test result prior to boarding their flight to the United States, Mexico Grand Hotels is now providing onsite COVID-19 testing to all guests returning to the U.S. as part of the resorts’ CASALIMPIA health & safety program.

In collaboration with AMC Hospitals, all Mexico Grand Hotels properties, including Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences, Vista Encantada Spa Resort & Residences, and Marina Fiesta Resort & Spa, are providing easy onsite antigen (rapid) testing to ensure guests a safe and relaxing stay. Upon arrival and check-in, guests may book their onsite test via concierge and online to receive their results before their departure, without ever having to leave the resort.

Onsite COVID-19 antigen tests are available for $20 USD per guest .

Should a guest test positive, preventing their return home, Mexico Grand Hotels has outlined the following protocols:

  • We will provide accommodations for up to 14 days at a 40 percent discount to guests, for up to two guests per room should both guests test positive.
  • Room service will also be offered at a 40 percent discount.
  • During this time, AMC medical staff will be available in case of a medical emergency or if medical assistance is needed.
  • A second test will be performed; once the test is negative, the guests will be able to return home.
